1. P/E ratio - this is the price to earnings ratio which is calculated by using the stock price per share/earnings per share(EPS) . P/E ratios can help determine if a stock is overvalued, undervalued or its future sentiment
ex.
two stocks at $12 per share.

stock A has a $2 EPS & P/E of 6
stock B has a $4 EPS & P/E of 3

people are willing to pay more for stock A they are for B based on current numbers.

(no P/E ratio meaning the company has no earnings or is losing money)

1/ #ME: Feeling a way about the incuriosity/obvious bias in the press. Thought I'd annotate an article with my thoughts/analysis.
2/ #CPS: The CTU won’t agree to the money until it gets the other items on what Jackson calls its “social justice bargaining” agenda.

#ME How do Black and Brown children get anything w/o a justice oriented agenda? Or, a demand? Better question: Why don’t they already have it?
3/ #CPS: That includes everything from affordable housing , a dramatic increase in “community schools”, enforceable caps on class size, mandatory hiring of support personnel written into the contract and more teacher prep time with potential to shorten the school day.

Ein Thread zum Fall #Wächtersbach, weil mir im Berichten darüber (mal wieder) das weit verbreitete Unvermögen auffällt, rassistische Gewalt klar zu benennen. Typische Formulierungen, die seit gestern immer wieder auftauchen:
1. "fremdenfeindliches Motiv": ich kenne den Inhalt des Abschiedsbriefes nicht, den der Täter hinterlassen hat, mag sein, dass er Hass "auf Fremde" o.ä. formuliert hat. Er hat aber auf jemanden geschossen, den er nicht kannte, von dem er nicht wusste, ob er "fremd" im Land ist.
Konkreter: er hätte auch auf meinen Ehemann oder meine Kinder schießen können, wenn die gestern in Wächtersbach gewesen wären. Die sind Deutsch und Schwarz. Das Motiv heißt also Rassismus, nicht Fremdenfeindlichkeit.
