Average net worth for millennials.

I have no words... Image
It seems that the '04 graduate and I are about tied 👀

(But I don't have a degree)
This is college class, not high school.
Also, if you are here and wondering how to get out of a $ slump, continue reading.

- Start making your time useful. Either learn something that can help you with your finances (tax deductions, income sources, skills that pay) or go out and get another job or start hustling.
- Second, start putting $ away. If you need to cut back on spending then do it. Strive to invest/save 15% of your income a year.

I recommend investing in index funds

Also, stop spending and start selling the stuff you don't need.

You don't need a TV in every room or a $10k car when your net worth is negative.

(Also, reassess your living situation. Sometimes it actually makes sense to rent)
Finally - Don't stop

If your friends make fun of you for driving an old Honda, that's fine. Don't get shamed into spending more.

Also, DON'T stop investing in a bear market. Open your arms to accept it.

Bear markets allow for buying more stock at cheaper prices, which is good.
