This is gonna be messy & mostly just throwing my thoughts out. I know this can (and will be) be ripped apart by abortion rights proponents & I am open/hoping to this happening

How we address "abortion rights are human rights" is they key to ReproJustice for ALL humans

Traditional definition: Reproductive Justice as the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy [abortion], have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities.

Their framework for human rights comes from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights [United Nations]

They pull from Article 3, 6, 25

but the key is they claim human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from BIRTH until death

This is how they can justify abortion.

but this is anti-science and reason because birth is an arbitrary point to establish personhood

UNoHR claims human rights "apply regardless of where you are from, what you believe or how you choose to live your life."

To be consistent this has to start at a point where our shared humanity began: fertilization

Now this is where it gets murky for me -- because I still don't fully understand, "maintain personal bodily autonomy" -- I haven't found a general consensus b/c of "white carceral feminism vs intersectional BIPOC feminism" -- I leave towards intersectional b/c of the consistency

which my gut reaction is to reject but I don't know/understand enough to truly form a definitive opinion

The only thing I can stand 100% on is the science of when human life begins

I need to dive deep in the works of Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw & keep myself open/humble to critique but in a way that doesn't violate my principles

Living, working and co-struggling along side folks who have completely different lived experiences from me has been life changing
