2) Think again. The Catholic left, represented since 1959 by Liberation Theology, with fierce advocates of social justice who fought side by side with us, protected us and gave their lives fighting against far right dictatorships is one part of the Church.
3) Unsurprising the American Catholic Church, where the horrendous pedophile cases abound, is the RIGHT WING of the Church and sabotages Pope Francis together with other RW fractions in the world.
4) Yes, his faction compromised. They gave up the ordination of married people but scored the environmental and social justice points. I say SCORE.
