Starting to hear some discussions among Democrats about whether the plurality winner in pledged delegates (if short of a majority) should just be recognized as the winner.

Some argue yes. But no clear consensus. Party may well have to grapple with this
What the process actually calls for is the superdelegates to jump in on the second ballot. (Though a majority winner still may not result even after that.)

The superdelegates will surely face pressure to simply back the plurality winner. But rules as written leave it up to them
