The point of the thread from yesterday was that many documents in many cases related to Chapo Guzman are under seal. We do not know as much as we could or should.
The point was to talk about the fact that much of the process related to Chapo witnesses is taking place in secrecy.

As @JJesusEsquivel pointed out today, it is possible the witnesses are in witness protection or are out of prison custody in order to testify at another trial.
My point was that because of the widespread secrecy, we simply don't know.

@JJesusEsquivel I also never said that the witnesses got reductions in their sentences. The entire point of the tweets was to say that--again--we don't know what is happening because--again--so many documents are sealed.
