Remember this story of 6 blind men having their own version of Elephant! Image
Our beilef systems are so deep rooted that we fail to tell between our STs & ATs. Most of the time, we treat subjective truths as absolute. This shapes the way we perceive life & world. To a terrorist, he is a victim of the atrocities of others; and vengeance is his answer.
We're so bad at telling ST of AT that we're shocked when we find others don't believe in our "absolute truth". We condescend, hate and mock those who have different version of our Subjective Truths.

Next time, when you find someone not agreeing with your version of reality, tell yourself..

Hang on, everybody agrees to "Sun rises in the East". If he's not agreeing, may be this isn't as straight as "Sun rises in the East", but its is convoluted like the Elephant in the tale!
May be there are other perspectives to this, that I'm oblivious to!
May be I need to be empathetic to his Subjective Truth and be more accomodative, show more respect & restrain!
