Thread: I spent a large part of my youth wondering what God had planned for my life when rather stupidly of me He had already given me His plan for my life (and yours) revealed in His word that I had several copies of in my own home.
Get married, have children, and SUBDUE the earth over which he has given you dominion.
“...And God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth."” -Genesis 1:28
Not married? Don’t have children? Never fear, there is something greater God has planned for His people to do: love God, and love others.
“Jesus answered... ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And u shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul & with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'...”

That’s not all. You have a plan for your life, Christian. Something far bigger and greater than yourself: to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."” -Matthew 28:19-20
Fearful? Anxious? Fulfilling God’s plan for your life can be that way. But you won’t be alone in this. God has sent His Spirit to us who is a witness to all things.
“And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him."” -Acts 5:32
Stop looking for fulfillment in career, love, platforms, or being seen by others. Yes, God has an amazing plan for your life. One that glorifies the Holy God of the universe. One that claims we will suffer, but we will be HEIRS with Christ.
“The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.” -Romans 8:16-17
You don’t have better ideas than God. You aren’t “different” or wired some other way. Being a black sheep is another way to claim sin and rebellion. You were created to worship God and rejecting His commands for some “dream” is a lie from Hell that will kill you.
This doesn’t mean we can’t have quirks or be creative. Rather, ALL of God’s people should strive for these things. Strive to worship God with ALL of our might whether as husbands, wives, children, sisters, brothers, friends, businessmen, artists, doctors, homemakers, teachers...
Our purpose is this: glorify God and enjoy Him forever! 🙌🏻
