Tampa Bay Times is a subsidiary of ‘Poynter Institute’, which appears to be a non-profit Journalism School of some sort.

Not sure why Politifact needed to change to Parent Co ownership, but whatever...
But in case you are wondering, the answer is yes - George Soros is a donor to Politifact.

I don’t blame the (at the time) ‘intern’ for this stuff; maybe she was asked to step up to the plate so she swung!

Anyway, I tried to reach out to her w/questions... but her twitter profile is dormant since 2017.
... and that is disappointing, bc I have many questions:

• Does she feel taken advantage of by DNC, NED, Soros?

• Did she at least get to shoot guns while here; did she wear cowgirl boots at the conference (in TX)?

• Who checks the fact checkers?

• Is she surprised that US Institutions that recieve State Dept funding created News Organization ‘Blacklists’?

She lists sources at the bottom, but this quote is from a phone interview - I literally just want to know who he is?!? 🤷🏼‍♂️

New #thread picking up on May 13 #NXIVM trial testimony beginning after the mid-morning break. Planning to work through at least the rest of this transcript today.
This starts with Vicente saying that he has a question. The prosecution calls a sidebar to tell the judge they do not know what the question is but also they do not object to the judge having a conversation with Vicente on or off the record.
Vicente joins the side bar. Says his question is related to the last set of questions. Says there was something he omitted and remembers when he left that he thought was important. Says he wasn’t sure of procedure.

New #THREAD for the second witness taking the stand in the trial against #NXIVM leader Keith Raniere. The second witness took the stand just after 4 p.m. today. It is filmmaker and former NXIVM member Mark Vicente.
His testimony began with questions about where he grew up, why he became a filmmaker, and where he studied school. Then we heard a little about his wife who he met through NXIVM members and who he convinced to take ESP classes.
Sometimes between 2004-2005 Vicente got a letter from Nancy Salzman and Barbara Bouchey asking about a recent film and saying he should meet Raniere and come to Albany to learn about his teachings and methodology.
