Elizabeth Warren strikes me as one of those kind hardworking girls in high school who suddenly got detention one day when she punched somebody who was mean to the sad kid. Did this happen in your high school? Very "Betsy, what's gotten into you?" energy from the teacher. Respect!
You know these girls? Like very excellent member of any study group, always had some surprisingly good snacks, never crowded you in the bathroom when you needed the mirror for a lip gloss intervention, but one day the class was like "WAIT WHAT DID LIZZY JUST DO TO CHAD?!?"
And like in retrospect you knew she had it in her, you'd seen it before, like she did NOT tolerate it when other kids tried to steal the graphing calculator when you needed it and she was always nice and not condescending when you were like "what is math" but wow. Impressive.
