Let's dispense with the collusion nonsense by clearly recognizing that every major power hostile to the United States would objectively be FAR better off with any of the Democrat candidates in the White House than Donald Trump. It's not a close call, either.
All of those hostile powers are daydreaming about crippling the U.S. with the eye-rolling insanity of Democrat open-borders policy or the Green New Deal. The GND would be a checkmate win for China, making them undisputed industrial masters of the 21st Century.
Every hostile power dreams of the social chaos and divisiveness Dem policies would inflict on America. Every one of them wants us to return to globalist sellouts of American interests, a weak labor market, high taxes to finance inefficient and corrupt government.
Every one of them wants resurgent American nationalism and patriotism dead and buried. Every one of them would vastly prefer dealing with U.S. officials who think intellectual sophistication requires disliking their own nation and putting the concerns of other countries first.
All of those hostile nations LOVE the model of permanent unaccountable bureaucracy revealed by the Democrats' sham impeachment hearings. They vastly prefer dealing with self-interested Deep State bureaucrats that never have to face the judgment of American voters.
China would be nowhere today without the folly of globalism. The Iranian regime is salivating at the thought of getting Democrats back into power. The Dems just got caught meeting with Iran in secret, for God's sake. No question who the terror masters want in the White House.
"Election meddling" is a complicated and expensive process with uncertain results. Lobbying a swampy unelected bureaucracy is a better bet. Dealing with a few power brokers that 99% of the American public never heard of is easier than manipulating the public with Internet junk.
There isn't an item on the Democrat agenda that doesn't look good to hostile powers whose primary goals are weakening the U.S. economy, fracturing its society, and turning its foreign policy away from America First. A couple of those agenda items would be knockout punches.
But in addition to rank political opportunism and sour grapes, the Russia collusion delusion keeps coming back due to the supreme arrogance of the bubbled elite. They think their own peeves and hatreds are what matters. As long as THEY'RE angry, America is divided.
Those polls the elite don't like, the ones showing immense public satisfaction with the economy and rising approval ratings for Trump, disrupt an illusion of "America in chaos" that was manufactured from a few tweets and furious op-ed screeds.
Private-sector economic strength is a sign of COOPERATION and healthy competition in the public. We're getting richer and creating jobs because we're working together and learning from our mistakes. It's one reason approval for the president goes up when the economy is booming.
We're also indisputably benefiting from policies that offer us protection from negative outside influences, like improved border security, immigration control, and energy independence - the very policies every single Democrat candidate has REPEATEDLY sworn to destroy.
So yeah, if you're a hostile power looking to diminish the U.S. so you can proceed with some malign agenda, you want one of these Democrats in the White House next year. You desperately NEED one. Like you, the Dems view much of the American public as an enemy to be subdued. /end
