Spokesorganisms for the Coronavirus 2020 campaign argued that it can still appeal to Dem primary voters because it lacks Biden's corruption baggage and doesn't scare the middle class as much as Bernie Sanders does.
Analysts noted the Coronavirus is every bit as stubborn as Mike Bloomberg, and while it lacks his financial resources, it is better positioned to run a 50-state campaign. The two candidates currently have the same number of delegates despite Bloomberg's $500M in spending.
Sanders operatives countered he is better able to connect with young voters and bring them to the polls.
"I mean, is the Coronavirus gonna wipe out my student loans? I don't think so," one Sanders voter scoffed.
