1/n @RahulEaswar tweets above picture mentions @Kummanam and a senior most #Brahmin Philosopher with "hashtag #Brahmin" many and happily retweets it. What could this tweet mean for different people? Lets’ examine.

2/n Unless, of course, reference is to cow eating #BostonBrahmin, pure-skin leather brand #Brahmin, or #HusainiBrahmin-Muhiyal, who fought for Muhamad family in Karbla. Some may say assertion,"#Brahmin Philosopher" not devoid of arrogance of identity, itself is unbecoming of one.

3/n I, “a Melccha म्लेच्छ”, for some could be wrong, if not upon queried by Yaksh:

loosely, who is Brahmin?,

Yudhisthir replied
श्रृणु यक्ष कुलं तात न स्वाध्यायो न च श्रुतम्।

loosely जन्म से कोई ब्राह्मण नही होता, no one is born Brahmin.

4/n Not name and shame, but to understand causes and consequences both Social and Political of such assertions is objective here. After much resistance, am containing desire to elaborate words #Brahmin and #Varnashram. For interested ones and for reference, pl see 25/n onward.

5/n Apparently a natural and innocent desire to protect off-springs turns into a sinister deceit. Deceit enabling translation of word “Varna” meaning “Character” to “Jati” meaning “Caste”.Transforming system based on character, Varnashram into a system based on birth, JatiAshram.

6/n Social system based on hereditary-attributes removed fluidity (explained in 27/n) from society (see reasons 26/n) and divided it for good. Counter-intuitive as it may appear, but truth is, hindsight this otherwise intended protection turned out to be rather an assault.

7/n Assault, in fact, on society as well as on off-springs whose protection it intended. Assault on society because, otherwise progressive and egalitarian society that rewarded merit (reason 27/n) and advancing knowledge, reduced to an exclusionist one, that rewarded bloodline.

8/n Vehement assault it was on off-spring as it deprived generations from the best. A scholar born-Kshtriya, condemned to be a mediocre warrior; an ace warrior born-Sudra, decreed to be a mediocre breeder; an apt trader born-Brahmin, doomed to be a mediocre scholar and so on.

9/n Cradling of mediocrity for centuries sowed deep seeds of 1000 yrs slavery.
That happens when: substandard becomes norm and drive to excel takes a backseat; good becomes good enough and “chalta hai” mainstream attitude; and hard-works is demonized and lethargy becomes reward.

10/n Sprouts of these seeds of slavery prompted robbing opportunities from:
a Sudra who could have become next Chandragupt;
a Wretch who could have been next Valmiki;
a #Brahmin, yes a #Brahmin who could have been a Parsuram; and
a Kshtriya who could be a Budhha or Mahavira.

11/n Gemmae from these seeds flourished in: disenchanted majority; divided society; power with incompetent voluptuaries; and huge leadership vacuum.

A 16yr juvenile "Bin Qasim" harvested the crop in 8CE, filled leadership vacuum and imported false sense of equality from Arabia.

12/n Yes, false equality, in fact, new divides and inequality Qasim created in disguise of equality, the divides so great that it would leave a scar on the face of motherland 1200 yrs later, in Aug 1947 in modern era.
Not favored by time, Qasim could only flirt with mother India.

13/n But by 10th CE Ghaznavis conclusively disrobed Buddhist blouse of the motherland in Khorasan and Kabul, reducing motherland to a Devdasi. A helpless Nagar-Vadhu and Arabs became pimps, who raped her and let French, Dutch, and Brits rape her one by one, till she is half dead.

14/n The motherland stared at sons helplessly. PrithviRaj, Rana Pratap, Shivaji and ilks stood up to help.
But, custodian of knowledge, marred by mediocrity and blinded by immediate selfish interest found class of a person more important than character (Varna) and abilities.

15/n Half cooked, third-rate, epidemiologists of caste justified wars between: Chauhans-Gurjars/Tomars; Chalukyas-Chawdas/Vaghelas.

Mediocrity conveniently held:a Bhosale, shepherd by birth, cannot become Chhatrapati Shivaji; he did nonetheless then they appropriated his legacy.

16/n Sycophancy evolves naturally in the false scholars. Surrender to, and pleasing invaders is their perfected art. Expecting such substandard stooges to walk path of "Chankya" to consolidate competing interests against common enemy and for inevitable showdown is/was an error.

17/n Of course, a false scholar (a #Brahmin) because of mere caste (birth) and not by karma or character (Varna) shall find shortcuts and remain evasive. His predominant pursuit shall be rather to protect the falsehood and covering up shortcomings, and not educating "RajDharma".

18/n Such stooges still exists. They call themselves historians, journalist politician etc., e.g. @Ram_Guha #RomilaThapar @irfhabib @ShashiTharoor @ravishndtv. They are no more than sold out henchman, hired to assassinate truth and replace it with more convenient falsehood.

19/n Intellectuals they are not, but they pretend to be. They are no more than souls available for rent, who can relentlessly work, either to rouse rebel, or put back the volkgeist (लोक चेतना) back to sleep, by narrating fantasies drenched in fanaticism and passing it as truth.

20/n More dangerous than👆is asserting #Brahmin/caste based on birth because, this is same mistake advantages of which Arabs, French, Dutch, Brits and alk took. Rapture and hatred it has caused in society can be seen in below 👇picture or any Hindi movie portraying a Pundit/Lala.

21/n It is incomprehensible, why people fail to understand that birth based supremacist assertions are not only wrong but are counterproductive and politically weakening. Well, Arabs, French, Dutch or Brits are not in power anymore, but other powers causing concerns still exist.

22/n Supremacist assertion is rather su!cidal, it disenchants and repels masses. The masses fall in trap to empower those who, by their faith, are mandated to deceive and, annihilate the disenchanted masses as well as supremacist both. Huh!! Enjoy a double whammy to gain Zilch.

23/n So, wake up !! this continuous birth-based pursuit of mediocrity disguised in false supremacy leads us to another collective fall and ultimately extinction. This time perpetrator may be in-house, who disregard ancestral heritage and take pride in associating with invaders.

26/n SĀMAVEDA:Vajrasuchika Rishiringa born of deer, Kausika of reed, Jambuka of jackal, Valmiki of ant-hill, Vyasa of fisher-girl, Gautama of hare’s back, Vasistha of Urvasi, Agastya of pot, these are not Brahman by birth तर्हि ज्ञानं ब्राह्मण इति चेत्तन्न।But by their knowledge.

27/n Sons of Kshtriya Nedisht and Daksh become Sudra and Vaishya respectively, Shonak a kshtirya and Matang a Chandal became Brahmin (Vishnu Puran 4.1.13-14, 4.8.1), Ravana grandson of revered Brahmin Pulstya Rishi become a Rakshasa, and Viswamitra's sons chose to become Sudra.

28/28 Yask Muni in Nirukti says
“ब्रह्म जानेति इति ब्रह्मण” Meaning one who realized Brahm/truth is Brahmin जो ब्रह्म को जान ले वो ब्राह्मण है।
Or ब्रह्म जानाति ब्राह्मण: अर्थात् ब्राह्मण वह है जो ब्रह्म (अंतिम सत्य, ईश्वर या परम ज्ञान) को जानता है।
