1. Taliban and Idlib: The problem with trying to make peace with people willing to die and kill to stay in the 7th century is that we're in the 21st Century and time for us moves forward, not backwards. We are not going back.
2. We have orthodox religions that live here and practice their faith free of interference but here there is one unwaiveable requirement. We cannot use religion as an excuse for murder or oppression. People in Idlib willing to accept a reasonable accommodation
3. have a future. The Jihadists who cling to the past that they believe justifies violence have no future. Nothing is impossible. But for politics you have to be willing. We can end this madness.
