I’m seeing media footage of clinics giving patients with #ILI N95s for source control. This is NOT only medically unnecessary - it is WRONG. 1) N95s should be reserved for HCWs who are on the frontlines of this epidemic.

2) SIMPLE masks are to be used for patients, NOT N95 respirators. 3) Please follow public health guidance. We’re all in this together and misuse of these resources has implications for the larger community.
