Attended and addressed workshop for housing societies organised by The Thane District Coop Housing Federation Ltd in Thane this morning with @vinay1011 ji and other leaders. 
In last 5 years, we took many decisions and moved fast to frame a policy for self-redevelopment.
I must appreciate our Urban Development Department for doing 30 years long pending works in just 5years & that too with flexibility.
Our aim was to provide ease of living to citizens.

Many reforms and rules were made like single window, increased FSI, reducing sanction period, premium concessions, tax & interest benefits. All this was submitted and is now in the final stage.
I am confident that this will help speed up approving the self-redevelopment proposals

We did a detailed study in Thane.Cluster devpt was allowed,common DCR for MMR finalised.
In Thane alone around 1 lakh houses,in real affordable terms,can be built under #PMAY
