I do not think highly of the Sunrise Movement. It attacks people who have a 100% voting record on the environment rather than Republicans who block environmental legislation. It functions as an attack dog for Justice Democrats and Bernie Sanders rather than an honest enviro org

It could not be less strategic and more committed to saying the right things and accomplishing nothing. There are people who will want to say I told you so after a disaster rather than compromise to avoid or mitigate the disaster. That's them.

But despite its funding from Rockefeller Family Fund, it is not a front for oil companies. It's really an enviro group, an enviro group of numpties who want to be right, not do right.

The third co-founder Matthew Lichtash works for New York Power Authority and seems to be doing his best to promote electric vehicles by ensuring there are plenty of fast charging stations.

The have a PAC and do endosements despite being founded as a c3. They advocate primarying Democrats, just like Justice Democrats

Their PAC has more than twice the money the C3 has. lol
They are a bit odd, though. They're sitting on over 480K and have spent less than 10K. They have not contributed to a single candidate. Expenditures to candidate committees were for buying lists for fundraising, event fees

Anyway, this is a case of Hanlon's Law, never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

So, the next thing to watch is whether the money goes to A Better Campaign for "consulting"
