This is an extremely important story, not least because of the way it was originally reported: That the US is trying to steal Germany's vaccine industry, and hoard the results for itself nytimes.com/2020/03/15/wor…
Regardless of whether the 'hoarding' part was true - US officials say it is not - the mere fact that Trump was trying to poach a major German company now brings to an end any notion of US-German, and indeed US-EU cooperation on this issue and any other.
Far more than any stupid Trump tweets or insults, this will be remembered: At a time of crisis, the US president tried to undercut his supposed allies. That - along with cancelling flights without consulting anyone - is what US "leadership" amounts to right now.

At Heathrow. Spookily empty except for the totally full Warsaw flight - because borders are closing tomorrow. Booked my ticket even while the PM was still making his speech.
Unclear when we will be able to fly out again. The political irresponsibility that led to this drama is incredible.
People without Polish passports or residency docs are not being allowed on the plane

clear description of the UK government's singular coronavirus strategy. But it all depends on one huge assumption: that people who have had the disease are then permanently immune
Also assumes they can keep track of the rate of infection without doing mass testing
And assumes there will not be political repercussions if a lot of people quickly die

To clarify, I'm going by poll averages over the past few months. I don't think the debates have materially changed the dynamics of the race or altered the top tier.
That said, I think Biden's recent downward drift and Warren's rise will continue.

Critical point here is that the MSM is claiming that #Sanders "came within a handful of votes" of #HillaryClinton, when he lost in a landslide of 4M votes, 1k pledged delegates (not SDs) and a dozen states.

This false narrative harms #Sanders--it's meant to highlight how badly he's doing in 2020 and prop up #Biden. But Sanders is actually doing better than in 2016. There are just more players. And Biden is being replaced by a younger centrist, #Buttigieg.
