What more racist Tom? My joke or you taking credit for what black voters did in South Carolina... You've almost figured out the point. *Almost.
Tom Nichols has magically stumbled into figuring it out. It's a miracle.
Reminder - Tom Nichols took credit for the work of Jim Clyburn and black voters in South Carolina by asserting it was his tweets that got Biden the win and not him.. But sure.

He did. Today both Biden & Bernie politicked & campaigned, which they should. All is fair. But I note you didn’t tweet this quote out then. If Biden & Bernie are going to keep campaigning, then so is Trump.
If members of media are going to go all in on Bernie & Biden can campaign & criticize but Trump can’t, they are going to erase the damage he’s done to himself, because his team will use it. This isn’t hard
This is simply Rucker and the Washington Post attempting to inoculate Biden from any criticism and it’s completely obvious.

Unless I’m mistaken private industry has been pretty proactive here. Trump can’t compel companies or sporting events to shut down. Someone ask Brian what response would satisfy him.
It’s an honest question. Someone ask @brianstelter what level of action he would like to see taken here to contain this. What would satisfy him.

This is a predictably fantastic thread, really worth reading if you’re a Bernie supporter who wants to help him win, really worth reading if you have problems arguing online, and also just really worth reading in general.
It actually puts me in mind of something I read in one of @SlacktivistFred’s posts one time about evangelism and how it’s actually supposed to work.

It’s a fable about white settlers trying to evangelize to Native people (I am paraphrasing here).
So the white settlers come striding into the village all like HELLO WE ARE HERE TO TELL YOU ABOUT HOW GREAT OUR GOD IS, LUCKY YOU

And they’re received politely, given a meal, and everyone sits around the fire and the white settlers evangelists Evangelize.

"Black capitalism" is not a real thing. There's no independent, Black capitalist system. Black ppl can be capitalistic in mindset & actions, but it's still Black ppl participating in the system of white capitalism. It's not an alternate system. 1/
Black ppl engaging in cooperative economics as a defense against the forces of white capitalism is also not "Black capitalism". 2/
Racism & capitalism only exist as separate systems in theory. In practice, Black ppl have been/are counted as capital & property. 3/
