This low energy statement would be more convincing if he wasn't laboring for breath as he read it. 
He read the advice about social distancing and washing hands well enough, though.

I found it really believable when he said that he will act with kindness and compassion.
Not.
For all of our sake, I sure hope the President finds within himself some as yet untapped reservoirs of compassion, kindness, responsibility, seriousness, and generosity in the days ahead. This is not a drill, nor is it a reality TV show.
