BREAKING, from Fox: the President is taking some kind of decisive action of some sort

Lindsey Graham is on Hannity saying that coronavirus is being covered like an "airplane crash" that is actually less deadly but gets more attention than the "car crash" of the flu.

Hannity is now talking about how H1N1 was a real risk that Obama mishandled because it killed young people, but COVID-19 only kills old and weak people.

Now @GOPLeader McCarthy is on talking about how much leadership Trump's "tone" displayed tonight.

Hannity: "We lose tens of thousands each year from the flu. Perspective counts."

Hannity: "The people at risk of dying from this are older, have underlying health issues, immune issues. It's clear at this point."

Yeah man screw those old people, who cares.

Hannity: Even Dr. Fauci agrees we wouldn't be able to count how many people died from this "Wuhan virus" if Trump hadn't stopped all travel from China.

Breaking news on Fox: Tom Hanks has the corona virus but he sounds "upbeat."

oh no the next guest is Senator Kennedy

Hannity: "If you're otherwise healthy, if you don't have a compromised immune system, you're overwhelmingly likely to recover. Just like the flu virus."

Hannity, on Trump: "We've never seen anyone put ban in effect this quickly."

Hannity, urging perspective: "I don't think most Americans know that tens of thousands die each year from the flu virus... we're not seeing those numbers here."

There are going to be some ground breaking class action lawsuits against Fox News when this is all over, I swear.

Fox News: "If you're otherwise healthy, go about living your life."

Don't be so "fearful" about COVID-19, Fox guest says, "There's a good chance you're not even going to know you had it."

Fox news is now assuring us that the only reason the NBA game was cancelled is because locker rooms are just impossible to clean, "because of all the sweating," but otherwise normal people not in locker rooms don't need to worry.

Hannity is asking why H1N1 affected young people but not this virus, and his guest assures him that young people do really well with this virus, it's only old people who struggle because of their lungs having "decades of living in pollution."

Senator Kennedy has arrived.

"Here's my conclusion. Trump is on this like wet on water."

Kennedy: "The doctors have told us. Number 1, we're not all going to die. Number 2, most Americans aren't going to get it." Doctors have NOT told us this. It is very likely most Americans will get it at some point.

SENATOR KENNEDY JUST COUGHED

Kennedy said "excuse me" and Hannity immediately switched away to a new presenter.

Fox is pulling out all the stops tonight.

Hannity: "When we lose tens of thousands of Americans to H1N1 and the flu every year... we don't see this kind of reaction. What's the difference?"

I want a transcript of the monologue of Hannity's guest Tammy Bruce just gave because that was some numbing buzzword soup.

But never fear, Trump is going to help us "survive a black swan like this dynamic."

It is all hands on the GOP deck tonight.

Fourth time tonight a cough has been heard in the background from an unknown source. That sounded like a woman coughing, so someone new.

Scalise: "On the one hand Trump was very presidential tonight" but "on the other side" you have Pelosi never letting a crisis going to waste, as she makes sure poorer Americans never have their shot at the American dream.

Ingraham is now arguing that COVID-19 is "short term" but the "cratering economy" the Democrats want would harm the working class for a long time.

Ingraham says Dr. Fauci said today that stopping travel to China (not what Trump did) was "critical" and saved tons of lives. Then plays a clip of Dr. Fauci where he neutrally agrees with a question that things could be worse without the restrictions.

Ingraham's doctor guest: "Pandemic does not mean lethal. Most of the time people do just fine with this coronavirus."

Ingraham tries to get the doctor guest to agree with her that the university closings are a dumb liberal overreaction. The doctor is like "uh, no, do you know what students are like, that makes sense."

Ingraham: Life can't just shut down every time China does something like this.

The doctor finally agrees, "schools shouldn't shut down unless there's a case," and Ingraham immediately says "thank you," and cuts him off screen.

Ingraham is now talking about how after 9/11 there was a "domino effect" of bad consequences that no one thought about the time we invaded Iraq. I am very lost about what point she was making.

"Shouldn't we think about the precedent we're setting here? That every time a disease migrates here from other countries, we shut everything down?" Ingraham warns this precedent could be far more damaging than COVID-19 itself.

Whoa. 🚨🚨 Ingraham says that thanks to "the CDC's bungling of testing" we don't know what's really going on.

Interesting new talking point from Trump-friendly media.

Ingraham says that we can't let this "mass hysteria" cause us to cancel events for "healthy people."

Oh our next guest is Tulsi fucking Gabbard who could have seen that coming.

Tulsi Gabbard: "Maybe we should go home and visit our parents. My parents, they're in their 70s."
Laura Ingraham: "... well maybe we shouldn't visit them."

My husband just saw one of those "Mr. President we know you're watching right now, please don't listen to this member of your Cabinet when they said this, and do this other thing instead" ads that's always running on Fox, and was super weirded out by it. But that's normal now.

Fox News is now hyping a plasma therapy that a Fox News guest previously said they got an email about from a Chinese doctor they know who claimed it cured COVID-19, and the current Fox News guest agrees "this might work."
