As the spread of COVID-19 continues, UNL is taking steps to protect our campus & broader communities:

The university will remain open. Students residing on campus are encouraged to return to their permanent residence because there are advantages of social distancing. Students who are unable to return home may remain in residence halls and access dining facilities.
All non-essential university-sponsored student and employee travel through the end of spring semester, including all summer study abroad programs scheduled for departure on or before June 30, are canceled.
We strongly encourage students, faculty and staff to consider whether personal travel is essential, including over spring break. Upon completion of travel, you must follow recommendations from the CDC and the appropriate local public health authority.
The University Libraries will remain open; however, some services and hours may be limited.
Based on guidance from the NCAA and the Big Ten Conference, Husker Athletics has announced that home sports competitions will be closed to the public effective immediately. ›› ow.ly/s9ez50yK94s
The university is coordinating closely with local public health officials regarding other events. Any cancellations will be noted on the events calendar, and, where applicable, ticket holders will be notified. ›› events.unl.edu
All faculty and instructors are asked to use the week of March 16-20 and the following week (March 23-27) to take the necessary steps to teach their courses remotely.
