It was probably inevitable that someone would end up being #CoronaKatie for tweeting the wrong thing at the wrong time, but some nobody with 9k followers getting dragged by thousands of people for basic ignorance that millions of others have been expressing doesn't seem healthy.
I mean she's literally some private citizen with no following who just made a dumb comment about the virus on an AOC post, and she was made the #1 and #4 trend on this whole site. That's insane. People's lives can get ruined over this weird lynch mob behavior. 
Maybe get mad at this guy. He's the one who can actually do shit, and he's the one putting this crap in people's heads.
Okay well that's a nothing position and I still think it's a wildly disproportionate response. She's not famous and she has no power. If she's being shitty she should be opposed on the level of local school board politics, not this whole damn website.
