Definitely seeing a massive uptick in cartoonish anti-China hysteria on this site the last few days. The effects of that concerted propaganda campaign really kicking in now. It's like watching the Russia hysteria unfold a few years ago.
It causes the same lack of self-awareness as the Russia hysteria too. I'm seeing this over and over and over lately.
That's not a defense for why that sentiment has INCREASED of late. The Chinese government hasn't gotten any worse in the last year; it's always been authoritarian. The only thing that's increased is the propaganda against America's lead geostrategic rival.
