@SarahbaxterSTM is right it is sickening that people are trying to get Suzanne kicked off of @guardian
But you know what, it still hurts that Sarah could not extend that same thought to an ordinary woman

Sarah wrote in @thetimes that I am "a very rude person"
thetimes.co.uk/article/23e0f5…

(despite there being no evidence that i was rude to anyone)
Maybe Sarah hadn't fully understood what is going on back in December and now she has...?
Or maybe it was easier for her to give Suzanne Moore a fair hearing because she is part of her tribe, whereas I am a nobody
They give the rest of us some cover and give more people permission to think and to speak
It is all of us
If you demand more 'niceness' from people who are less important (younger, female, less white, less Oxbridge etc..) then diversity is just box ticking
I have taken on @SCynic1 's advice that it is often wiser to rage in private.
But trying to draw a line and allow some people to be punished for not being 'nice' lets them be victimised & shut up
She is appealing against a criminal conviction for being "annoying" on Twitter w 20 tweets over 6 months
She, like me, does not have the protection of celebrity or tenure.
Most people don't, thats why her case matters
