Look around. Feel/see how much of your alleged rights/freedoms get taken away day by day, hour by hour based on whims of local, state and federal lawmakers (who bulk under media/political pressure). It's a nice puppet show. At least in the USSR they knew it is all a racket.
I respect @NYCMayor @BilldeBlasio and @NYGovCuomo, byt today 1:30 they held the line on school closures yet within hours Cuomo said it will need to be shut and BDB said it is shut for tomorrow. Either their 1:30 opinions were way off or their 4:00 opinion is way off.
Over in NJ, municipalities - with not a fraction of the density and/or high rise buildings as Wuhan - are telling everyone to stay inside from one minute to the next. @GovMurphy wants to implement curfews. One minute to the next, life-threatening decisions are implemented.
Yes, those fast-moving decisions are life threatening. People need time to buy/arrange things and may want to make stay over decisions. But boom! Teaneck, NJ is choked out with a snap of the finger. People rely on restaurants for dinner/peace if mind. If you are closing them down
such as in OH/IL or wherever, scale it back slowly; give it 48-72 hours. I don't know each step what is or isn't good. But a decision that is made with reason and sense would not be announced 3 hours after we were told the opposite is smart. It would not B implemented RIGHT AWAY!
TEN hours ago @NYCMayor @BilldeBlasio was yelling that schools need to remain open but now he is implementing a choke down of restaurants to start in 33 hours. The way those decisions are made is not a sign of leadership. It is a panic-driven, thin-nerved, freak show!

LA's Mayor announced 40 minutes ago a mass choke off of bars, entertainment venues and gyms effective within hours. Again, if this is needed fine but give 48-72 hour windows of things and LAX should have long been been shut down.
