.@Jim_Edwards Median death date in Italy is 18 days of infection so the 6 days of the shutdown has nothing with it. The “curve” numbers do not show how many tests were taken per day the last 2 weeks so maybe it flatlines due to number of tests holding steady; not the shutdown.
Cases in Orthodox Jewish populated areas in Brooklyn did not pop the last two days more than anywhere else. More tests were done there than in any one area in NY so more cases are shown. “Are you saying x?” No. I am saying look at all numbers to know where you really are.
I am not giving opinions from my sofa. I am on the front lines of some testing happening and I am telling you testing took off this week. 75% of those who want tests don’t need it per the CDC and/or per what EMS hands told me but there is panic so everyone is popping off. Sad.
The public was told it is important to do testing testing testing. Some neighborhoods have more testing than others. As a results more cases come online. Result? People yell about “clusters” when there is no evidence that there are more infected people; rather more testing.
