Sunday Feb 23, Italy had 157 known CoronaVirus cases. Wed March 4th, the US had 158 cases. So:

Italy's Day 1 is Feb 23.

The US Day 1 is March 4.

On its Day 15 (Sunday March 8) Italy closed down because hospitals had already snapped by Day 10.

Yesterday was Day 13 for the US.

Italy (March 6th) 197 deaths.

US (March 16th) 86 deaths.

Italy's death rate was 4.24% (197 deaths out of 4,636 cases).

The US death rate was 1.84% (86 out of 4,663 cases).

US (March 17th) 109 deaths.

Italy's death rate was 3.96% (233 deaths out of 5,883 known cases).
