1. We published the #ElectoralBonds Investigations as a multi-language collaborative journalism effort.

For some of us, the collaboration meant reviving the spirit and strength of journalism. Pooling the will and resources to do deep-dive journalism. Showing its possible.
2. There were so many journalists across the country who helped stitch the collaboration. So many who reached out later to celebrate the collaboration across languages. Citizens and journalists alike.
3. We began to imagine a reporters' collective.
4. A collective for journalism that interrogates the powerful, not just describes the lives of the powerless. Which explains and tells citizens about the political-economy without fear. A collective that helps all who come together to produce better journalism.
5. The idea of the collective took an informal but firmer shape with the second series of the #ElectoralBonds Investigations being published in Jan 2020. By then some of us had begun working as a team.
6. Now, we are ready with the third investigative series by The Reporters' Collective. This one by @Kum_Sambhav.
7. Starting tomorrow morning, this entire week, keep a tab on the brilliant @Kum_Sambhav's TL (Follow him now, if you do not already). He is going to reveal some deeply-disturbing and shocking findings of an investigation that's taken months.
8. His series too shall be published in many languages simultaneously. And we shall collaborate with yet other journalists, languages and platforms in days to come. For now, watch out for Kumar Sambhav's fantastic investigative series.

End.
