Attention here is the telehealth order for all insurances in MA: 
I believe this means we can use it for audio only if the patient does not have the proper tech (many of mine don’t, but they do have landlines) AND payment is the same as in person. Yay!
Please share all psychotherapists and psychiatrists in outpatient individual setting in MA should be doing this to prevent our patients from going out.

All you have to do to bill is add a GT modifier to your billing code and change the location from office to telehealth (which I believe is 02 but it might be 03, in office is 11. I will clarify this in a few minutes)
Lol my office manager informed Tufts about the governor’s order. They hadn’t heard it 😂😂. I’m going to wait a little bit to bill.
Okay folks buckle up...some insurance providers are asking us to bill it as normal (no GT, no 02) (my guess is they haven't updated their protocols at surprise order?) some bill as telehealth.
