Where might the rest of the world be right now if the World Health Organization had not shamefully and irresponsibly bowed to the political demands of China in the first months of the coronavirus crisis? A lot of high-ranking people need to lose their jobs over this.
If WHO does not start getting rid of the people who knuckled under to Communist China, beginning with the director-general, then the organization needs to be defunded, disregarded, and replaced. China is going to be the source of a LOT of virus epidemics in the future.
A long, hard look needs to be taken at every organization where China has membership. Beijing has proven it simply cannot be trusted and will abuse any influence it is given. Until and unless the Chinese Communist Party is disbanded, China should have observer status only.
All the globalist hotshots who made bank by moving production to China for the cheap labor need to understand they're doing business with a regime as murderous and untrustworthy as Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union. Decoupling should be their top priority for the next decade.
China hasn't learned anything from the coronavirus nightmare - it's busy spreading conspiracy theories that the U.S. Army cooked the virus up in a lab. This regime is unreformable. Every private interest in the world needs to ask itself: "Would I make this deal with Hitler?"
The real test will come from Hollywood, which is now heavily dependent on Chinese money and is strongly influenced by the Chinese Communist Party. The arrogant virtue-signaling stars and studios of Tinseltown will NOT want to risk that lucrative business.
So it will be up to us, the people of the Western world, to make it clear to our corporations that Chinese influence is toxic and must be reduced as much and as quickly as possible. Isolating them is the only hope we have to contain their evil and give dissidents a chance.
How did we ever allow ourselves to forget that Communism is one of the worst viruses of all? We fought and sacrificed for decades to contain one outbreak, and grew complacent because the effort seemed successful - but the job was not done, not even close. /end
