Here's what's happening: the emerging markets bubble is now bursting.

I've been saying that this will be one of the bubbles that will contribute to the coming recession/depression.

That's exactly what is happening...

The emerging markets bubble formed over the past decade due to the "tsunami of liquidity" that flowed into EM bonds and pushed yields to record lows.

Record low rates led to credit and property bubbles throughout the developing world.

Those EM credit and property bubbles - from Brazil to the Philippines - created the illusion of an economic boom.

Almost everyone was fooled - "these are the economies of the future!" (meanwhile, it was central bank "funny money")

That bubble is now bursting violently...
