U.S. coronavirus testing continues to increase by more than 40% per day, compared to (probably) about 13% for the virus. That is good news.

To put it in perspective, we're now at about a quarter of South Korean testing levels per capita. Up from less than 1% of Korean levels two weeks ago.
America is often slow to react, but once we do, our response can be sustained and overwhelming.

We started out WW2 with 5 aircraft carriers. In four years we built 141 aircraft carriers.

Actually I made a little calculation error, we need 6 more days at the current growth rate to rival Korean levels, not 4-5.
Important update: My numbers were not end-of-day numbers! It turns out we're now doing over 22,400 tests per day! That's about 1/3 of current Korean per capita testing numbers, and 1/5 of peak Korean numbers.
