Friends on Twitter -- since we are going into a lockdown due to #Covid_19india here is a suggestion.

Lockdown will hamper even essential services as staffers might find it difficult to travel to areas of work.

A #thread on how to help using @twitter
1. Use Twitter to locate people in and around your locality. Build volunteer groups in the areas. Put them in an excel sheet using location (colony, apartment etc).
2. Reach out to the RWAs, elderly, local essential establishments etc and keep track of things they need help for.
3. Build a roster for volunteers will can help out the local establishments, elderly etc. Minimise contact and stay online to co-ordinate. Set up WhatsApp groups in local areas, colonies etc
4. Volunteers to become point of contact with outside world/essential services, grocers etc as and when required. This will streamline supply chains and also prevent too many people from having to step out.
5. Build online communities that are hyperlocal so that you can do Zoom meetings or even Google chats with your neighbours, neighborhoods and maintain camaraderie while maintaining social distance
6. This can also lead to online tuition classes, chats, discussions. Basically, build online communities, help each other in a targeted and focussed manner and stay safe.
Use this opportunity to also help your government wherever you are. Pass on correct information and help out those who are not connected online. Professionals who are used to online meetings can easily lead this. Let's do this.
