A global recession would be worse for our people than the Great Depression. Doctors provide medical treatment and cures—they should not be the determinative voices in policy making now or at the end of 15 days.
Even another week of this will mean millions more out of work, massive damage to businesses big and small, rental incomes, families at every income level, horrific pain and suffering. But if we knew this was almost over, recovery would be easier.
Going back to most jobs after 15 days will require new protocols until this virus burns out—everyone within 6 feet of others MUST wear masks, constant hand washing, gloves, protective goggles if needed.
If no masks available, they are fairly easy to make until USA made supply ramped up. Literally you can make these with cotton sheets. (Posted video yesterday). Again, we can be resourceful when necessary!
The most vulnerable population must be socially distanced until we are over this. Churches should organize concerts outside senior living centers. We love you! We just can’t hug you right now!
The sick—even just the sniffles—must stay home from work. Workplaces must police. No cheating by employees!
Unscrupulous plainiffs’ lawyers, price gougers, horders, other bad actors, must not be allowed to to take advantage of this situation. Will leave it to others to figure that out.
A New American Industrial Policy must immediately be announced by this Administration. In WWII our patriots headed to the factories to make essential products. We can’t do that now bc most essential products from masks to meds to vents made abroad.
It is infuriating and heartbreaking that a single American had to die because of this virus. New York and other areas where most new cases are occurring need proper resources.
As I told you on March 16 #IngrahamAngle, promising anti-virals such as hydroxychloroquine are saving lives right now. We need to make these cheap drugs in bulk HERE. Off label use already happening all over the world.
