Rumor has it @senatemajldr McConnell is going to push through the (UN)SAFE Banking Act in the middle of the THC vaping crisis. Horrific idea that @potus should reject.
Commercialization not popular with Republican base, terrible for our youth. Opening up banking to the pot industry will effectively legalize pot nationally.
And btw it will also free up millions of “legalized” pot dollars to be donated to Dems who want to defeat Senate Republicans in 2020. Bad idea.

Obama initially built family detention facilities in Texas and New Mexico holding thousands and sent others to small 100-bed facility in Pennsylvania.
Judge Dolly Gee ruled Obama was violating a 20yr case (Flores) by holding families longer than 20 days. (Absurd!)
As time went on, the Obama Admin just buckled, was overwhelmed by sheer volume of border crossers and gave up. Hence catch & release became norm. And here we are today.

Obama violated his own words thst US couldn’t allow illegal immigrants to just pour across border and that most would need to go back.
