Look, as a thinking rational adult you have to be able to change your mind when new information is obtained. You can not stick to opinions if the data is telling you something else. This virus is a prime example. What might have been thought as needed measures last week without
data, is now seen as an overreaction as the models those decisions were based on have been proven untrustworthy. What was impossible to do without testing is now possible. NYC hospitals at the epicenter of the virus are not overwhelmed therefore draconian steps taken
...to prevent something that isn't happening are not needed. Remember most of the lockdowns were order because of the belief that hospitals would be overwhelmed like Italy and deaths would skyrocket. The data isn't showing that therefore the belief is wrong and the decision made
from that belief need to be re-thought and policies need to be changed. As Trump has said this is a war. You don't continue a battle plan when the forces on the ground change. You change your battle plan.
