- Your new life in #COVIDWinter is much more accessorized than before. Mask, 2 pairs of gloves (always carry extra), pen (to fill in police forms), form, wallet w/ ID, phone, keys etc. I thought I had solved this problem by wearing a jacket with big pockets, but it's warmer... /2
so in the store I found myself hot and sweaty, which is not a good look when people are worried about contagion. So I think a new killer accessory during #COVIDWinter (at least for men) is a fanny pack, because you have easy access without overheating in the warm temps. /3
- Put your mask on (at least around your neck) BEFORE starting the car. If the police stop you on the road, you don't want to be looking for your mask and then putting it on. Easier just to pull it up.

The last thing you want right now is to touch a pen handled by other unknown people before you.

bags on the outside of the cart. It worked great...until I started emptying the cart. I didn't calculate for gravity so at a certain point the bags hanging outside the emptied cart flipped the cart over. So pro tip - empty the OUTSIDE bags first, then the cart itself. /6
- As you breathe a sigh of relief when you leave the supermarket, you need to understand that you are about to hit a key transition point that brings the outside world into contact with your home: loading the car. Your gloved hands have touched who knows what. You need to... /7
touch car keys, open car doors etc which you will also touch with bare hands. So here you should 1) remove and dispose of your current gloves, 2) put on new gloves, get your keys and open your car, 3) load your car and return the cart, and 4) dispose of the 2nd gloves. /8
The supermarket was very well stocked. Prices of fruits and vegs were higher than usual but not exaggerated. The only shelf that was cleaned out was flour. None to be found. This has been a problem from the start in Italy (but we have plenty of TP). /end
