Људи,
Here's an interesting tweet that I dug out because I wanted to talk about #France, after talking about #Serbia this night.
Indeed France betrayed Serbs in the 90s, & has been holding onto it since.
I guess it deserves an explanation, from a Frenchman who's not on a payroll.
2. First, as an Historical reminder, what #France betrayed was something big. 200 years of joint History since a wave of Serbian diplomats & scholars came into France to see what we were doing, & then Prince Petar Karađorđević fought in the Franco-Prussian War on the French side.
3. France, despite its ties with the Ottoman Empire, progressively supported Serbia against it because it needed a new foothold in the Balkans, & #Serbia and Serbs showed interest, & huge appreciation for French intellectual & artistic movements. This relationship grew until WW1. Image
4. In WW1, France was caught short by the Austrian moves & missed its entrance in the war. Our country was rammed, & Serbia was not supported as it should have been, too little & too late. We tried to make up for it by help the Serbian Army & people in many ways later in the war.
5. The movement was successful at a cost of 80,000 French, & Serbia was liberated. 1,000,000+ of Serbs died in that war, almost 20% of all Serbs in the Balkans. Then #France made THE mistake. France supported the Yugoslavist project instead of supporting a Serbian nation State..
6. Some French politicians warned our government that it was a mistake to put Slovenes & Croats on the side of the winner & that Serbs would pay the price for it, because we knew well already that the Versailles treaty was a truce & not a peace, that scores were not yet settled..
7. #France also pushed for Trianon treaty, for its own interests, insensitive to the fact that a too frustrated Hungary would be a torn in the flank of the Czechoslovak-Romanian-SerboYugoslav Entente that France wanted to establish in the Greater Balkans to contain the Germans..
8. But we did all of it nevertheless. And as expected by some, it blew back. The Kingdom of SHS turned into shit with deteriorating relations between Serbs & Croats, Hungary, Austria & Mussolini Italy supported the Ustashe & the IMRO, & King Aleksandar was killed in France, 1934.
9. With him & Louis Barthoux, our brave FM, died our project of anti-Nazi front & agonized also the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Regent Paul realized the shakyness of France & tried to compromise both with the Croats, & with the growing Axis. Our little Entente progressively collapsed.
10. When WW2 started, #France was not ready. Having built the Maginot Line instead of mechanizing & given up on Czechoslovakia, hence bowing to Hitler, France declared war on Germany but the men stayed in the barracks. France was still traumatized by WW1 & so we waited the Nazis.
11. They came in 1940 & despite a resistance causing 60,000 French military death & 20,000 civilian ones, we quickly collapsed. Once France was handled & the UK under pressure, the Eastern front was free again. The anti-Axis coup of march 1941 & the Greek resistance led Germany..
12. To fall on both, bombing Belgrade into Oblivion & allowing Italy to put Ustaše in Power in Zagreb & the genocide of Serbs, Jews & Roma to start in the Nazi NDH. France was occupied, Serbia also. De Gaulle was supportive of the Chetnici, but the UK/US turned to the Partizans..
13. Here comes the trick. De Gaulle was able to use the external tides to liberate the Empire then France, but these external ties led the game. Churchill got us our seat in the UNSC, we also were endebted to the USA & forgiving then helping Germany was chosen to block the USSR..
14. My dear Serbs, the #France that you once loved & that some of you still do died in Verdun & De Gaulle could not resurrect it. We then lost the Empire, & more importantly Algeria, our own #Krajina. We won the war but lost the peace & had to evacuate our people, the Black Feet. Image
15. Meanwhile, the Titoists won in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, & proclaimed the socialist federal Yugoslavia. #Serbia was put in pieces. Vardar #Macedonia & Montenegro separated & made republics, the rest of Serbia with 2 AP, Krajina & #Herzegovina w/o autonomy in Croatia & BiH..
16. The plan of Austria-Hungary became the plan of the Komintern, & Tito applied the plan to the letter. Downsizing Serbs, elevating others starting with Croats, tying the whole in BiH."Weak Serbia, strong #Yugoslavia". Meanwhile, commies pushed in France too, but were kept down.
17. Fast forward to 1981, & to the core of that thread. Mitterrand, who was both socialist but also a fine connoisseur of History & friendly to the Serbs, won the presidential election in #France, & had a socialist program. This terrified both #Austria, Germany & the USA. Why?
18. The great fear was that France socialized itself, while the USSR fate in Afghanistan was still unknown, & Yugoslavia had still a chance to thrive after Tito's death if reforms were made. So Austria, West Germany & the USA pushed on the 3 buttons at the same time to prevent..
19. the socialist model to intermingle successfully with a market economy, & lead Europe to a "third way". France was destabilized by CIA to make fail Mitterand's projects, the USSR was fought in Afghanistan with the International Jihad's embryo, & Yugoslavia faced economic-war..
20. & the agitation & financing of the #nationalist #diaspora. Slovenes, Croats, Albanians, Muslims & even Serbs were approached to shake the country which costed so much to Serbs, but still was a home for all & more importantly was one of the 3 pieces of a puzzle to tear-apart..
21. And the plan worked. Mitterrand socialist economic reforms failed in 1982 while his societal reform vs conservatism were encouraged, #Soviets were stuck in #Afghanistan when the prodigal Gorbi appeared like a gift fallen from the sky for both Germans & Americans & meanwhile..
22. Any constitutional reform aimed at fixing the 1974 constitution problems for Serbia in Yugoslavia were blocked, with the aim of leading YU to implose, with the help of an economic crisis willingly pushed forward from abroad. #Federation was starved while separatists were fed.
23. So when the Cold-War ended, our old Mitterrand, already sick & tired, saw well what was happening. The Soviet Union felt down fault of possible reforms & thanks to Western backed corrupt apparatchiks, France was like Yugoslavia under economic & monetary pressure, and sadly...
24. Mitterrand made the decision to surrender, in order to end the destabilization of our country, & obtain help from #Germany to support the French Franc & agriculture while the USA were encouraging the progressive liberalization of the French economy by holding on economic war.
25. Meanwhile, the societal reforms in France about societal equality beared fruit. Unlike in the past, the libtards in France became very strong, & we observed a convergence between all kind of movements. Equality, democracy, liberal rule, anti-antisemitism, anti-Islamophobia..
26. To sum up, #France was still traumatized by a century of costly wars which turned into Pyrrhic victories or bitter defeats & humiliations, weakened economically, destabilized by foreign powers but also screwed internally by the fruit of the societal evolutions engineered by..
27. The French socialists, which were used already by the very same people they though they were fighting.
So, as a part of a "peace deal" with the Germans & Americans, Robert Badinter was appointed to the arbitrage tribunal tasked to make recommendations on Yugoslavia's future..
28. The mission was simple : #France had to bury what France had initially created. The #Serbs requested France involvement because they trusted us, so who was better to give the "coup de grace" to Yugoslavia, but France itself. And that's what Robert Badinter did, also because..
29. Badinter was/is both :
- a French
- a socialist
- a Jew with the legitimacy of the memory of a genocide
- a pioneer in both human rights & societal liberalization
- and out of all of it, a self-righteous uptight moralist, whose word is like a sentence coming from the heavens.
30. So he was the perfect man for such mission & he fulfilled it with an admirable candor. He :
- ignored the Yugoslav constitution of 1974 (article 5), & yet backed the legacy of the Stalinian Tito.
- ignored the International Law, starting with the UN charter.
- ignored History
31. Many #French, academics, militaries, high public servants & concerned citizens were appalled by his conclusions, which were going contra legem, contra-History, & contra-common sense.
But his conclusion prevailed, & the #German led EEC & US led UN followed them to the letter..
32. Mitterrand knew all along the monstruosity he had been "bribed" to encourage, & spoke out against it because his consciousness didn't leave him alone.
But he nevertheless obliged, de facto, to almost anything asked of #France by #Austria, #Germany, & the #USA.
Just read the..
33. UNSC resolution 757 to realize the abomination. All rights were denied to #Yugoslavia, up to its existence in UNSC reso 777 which denied its UN seat to a founding member.
The moral failure, cynism, the abomination of denying the existence of a country & rights of its people..
34. When Chirac took over Mitterrand, it became even worst. Unlike Mitterrand, Chirac was a believer.
He believed that what we were doing was right, he believed that we needed to do more to help Croats & Muslims, & soon Albanians.
He believed that Serbs were the evil aggressors..
35. Your poor country, & my miserable one.
My #France, the France who won the most battle in known History, who proclaimed so many values & promoted so many progress along the last centuries, didn't turn a dark page after the end of the colonization, but opened a new one with..
36. the capitulation of #France, not against the Nazis this time, but against their heirs : the Germano-Anglo-American overlapping Empires of the 90s. You Serbs saw YU dismantled, sanctioned, attacked, demonized & France participated to it, but we were also targeted insidiously..
37. And the humiliation for #France is total.
You Serbs defended yourselves, fought, gallantly, vs everyone, & war being war crimes were committed, but if you really wanted to genocide your enemies, that's what would have happened.
We #French just capitulated w/o a shot fired..
38. The real white-flag joke about #France is not 1940, despite our debacle of 1939. In 1940, we fought, & we lost. Nothing so glorious, but hey, nothing that dishonorable yet.
The real joke is about Algeria, where we won & yet left, & worst, #Yugoslavia & Serbs, sacrificed for..
39. save ourselves from simple economic pressures.
That's how weak the French spirit became, & it kept weakening every since, manipulated downward to help anything going vs #France, its mode, its History, its friends, its honor, its dignity, its independence, its Self. Pathetic..
40. I read once these words "#Yugoslavia was a big idea, but we were small.."
I don't sympathize anymore with Titoists now that I know better, but I remember that YU was also the country of all Serbs.
France is a big idea also but we are becoming smaller & smaller as time passes.
41. Now, & here it becomes interesting.
The French do not totally overlap with #France as a State, & many of us didn't forget, or rediscover our History in front of the progressive collapse of the Americano-Anglo-German Empire. Nations are slowly waking up from the Red legacy..
42. This very legacy which has been weaponized by the Great capitalists & sorcerers of the liberal World against the European nations for too long.
Everywhere in Europe people stand-up to say "no more", & start to revisit their History. I saw Serbs doing so. French do so also..
43. The official narratives are more & more scrutinized, analized, criticized. May it be the US/NATO Wars, may it be the Islamization of Europe, may it be the libtards, the alleged "illegitimacy of national questions", the ridiculization of our past & collective identity, the...
44. attacks against our culture, traditions, our #Statehood, our public property, public companies & services, our national economies, our tax-system & its bounty. We get it, more & more, & we come closer to a conclusion every year that passes. Europe is under attack, & #Serbs..
45. as usual, took the first bullets.
Now, the corrupts fucks leading us & libtards helping them have still the upper hand but it's not gonna last forever. And #France is not spared by this awakening movement, which finds #Serbia, as often, right at its start & in its center.🇷🇸💪
46. We have been degenerated, but the very tools of the crooks & #libtards are accessible to us as well because they are meant to brainwash us all, so do not filter who access them. And we use them, more & more, with more & more success. The #French people is gaining awareness..
47. about the coming fight for the survival of our people & nations, of our models & civilization. And there is a prime spot for #Serbia for whoever ends up understanding that our fights of today & tomorrow are the fights led by the #Serbs yesterday & the day before. If I did..
48. connect the dots, like many before me, you can be sure that with our common efforts & strength, more will & it will snowball up to avalanche. Most of us gain awareness of who we are collectively, who is friend, who is enemy, who is to be honored, helped, & who's to be tamed..
49. To answer the initial tweet, what the OP says isn't true:
- I met in #France many French who remember positively Serbs & many more who can be turned in 5 mins of talk because truth is truth, & it quickly makes sense.
- I met in #Serbia many Serbs who care & even love France..
50. Because having the experience of the Yugoslav issues & the traitors from within, they know too that the good French people has been betrayed by their own country, who was itself attacked & colonized at the same time.
Like you #Serbs, we #French are good people. We are often..
51.LAST ..naive, but we always wake-up at some point. It took Serbs centuries to swallow the Ottoman pill & spit out its remains.
It'll take decades more to finish the ex-Yugoslav one & spit it the same.
On its side🇫🇷needed a break
But the French are waking up.
This is not over ! Image
34.bis Important was also the French failure in #Rwanda. Not only couldn't we back properly the Hutu gvt against Kagame Tutsi FPR nor prevent him to shoot down a French plane with 2 Hutu presidents, but the Hutu, then Tutsi genocidal wrath won. We lost a war, a proxy, & the PR..
34.ter ..battle around Rwanda vs Kagame & its US/UK patrons. The period was 1990-1994, so in 1995, after Srebrenica on which the French role is sketchy, the pieces were placed for France to surrender demonized Serb & for Chirac to bow & close eyes during Storm operation in 1995..
43.bis ..attacks on our Christian heritage (which are a pale reflect of those we allowed to happen in #Kosmet. 200 churches vandalized, damaged, burned, razed by the #NATO backed Albanians extremists. Having the experience of Algeria, #France still shamefully closed eyes), the...

#Albanians terrorists started the war.
They killed those #Albanians who opposed it.
They exposed civilians by hiding in villages & using its inhabitants as human shields.
They used their casualties for foreign media, the more, the better for the propaganda.
What did you expect?😏
2. Ultimately, your #terrorists called the cavalry to help them win an otherwise unwinnable war.
Weak & disgusting as a whole.
10 times more #Albanians died out of it.
But thousand of #Serbs died also.
Then, your terrorists ethnic-cleansed #Kosovo in peace time.
Whose genocide?😏 Image
3. We call peace-time the post 10/06/1999 period after the #Kumanovo agreement.
And yet, between 10/06/99 & 31/12/2000, 860+ civilians were killed, & 425+ disappeared, per the HLC list endorsed by Pristina.
That was also a war.
A war against disarmed civilians.
Under KFOR's eyes.

Let's start a #Serbian & #Yugoslav map thread.
Here I'll share the best material I compiled over 3 years about the #History of #Serbia & #Yugoslavia.
Let's start with a map of companies implanted in SFR.Yugoslavia.🏭
57 are detailed in the link provided.👇
investitor.me/2019/06/17/50-… Image
2. Here comes a #Yugoslav map for foodies.
Unlike for companies, the destruction of #Yugoslavia didn't change the local specialties, which remain the delight of all locals & visitors.
#Meatlovers are like fish in water there, & back in #France I dearly miss ćevap & pljeskavica!🥺 Image
3. Here are 2 pseudo #tourism-maps of #Yugoslavia, respectively made by locals & #Americans.
I wish we helped, as requested, to conserve & protect this #beauty.🕯️
As a citizen of a #NATO country, & especially as a #French, I'm sorry we didn't, even if most of this still exists.🙏 ImageImage

3. These 8 covers show pro-Serbian feeling & encouragements pushed in #Paris during #WW1.
At the time, #France was trying to obtain the establishment of a #Balkan front in order to help #Serbia, pincer #Quadruplice & alleviate Western front.
80,000 French died there.
And we won.. ImageImageImageImage
