The biggest problem with the #MBA Degree is that it does not distinguish among Big Corporate, #Microenterprise or #SME - Small and Medium Enterprise Management Pedagogical Models and Curriculums.
What is the MBA program preparing you for?
A career in the Corporate World!
Period
Many universities are most certainly pedantically confused when it comes to approaching the generalist management education strand offered via the professional routes at their business school.
Enterprenuership, Leadership and MSME Streams are all being offered in addition to MBA.
The dilemma is one of misunderstanding the role of education and curriculum development to meet the requirements of a modern firm.
Educationists and Educational Technologists have not paid attention to business didactics as much as they should.
To make confusion bigger, MBA and MPA are also offered jointly at unis.
Many HR focussed business schools also teach Master of Public Administration Degree, creating the wrong impression that it would lead to specialization in personnel mgmt.
How wrong that is?
#MPA should solely be done only by aspiring students who would like to work in the civil services or the public sector or semi-autonomous firms where the government has a direct equity stake or regulatory participation, or supervisory oversight through #BOD representation.
#MPA is also useful for those who want to work as #policymakers in the government.
It is not a degree which will be useful for a career in the private sector irrespective of the size or the nature of the business firm.
I thought it's important to highlight these features and some common fallacies that are dodging students at business schools.
Ideally, an #MBA should prepare you first and foremost to create a #startup or a DIY commercial project.
Secondly, a career in the Joint Stock Companies.
Lastly, an #MBA should also be helpful to those who already have spent a donkey number of years running their own business or have worked in a managerial role at somebody else's firm.
They should bring their practical insights to the classroom, so others can benefit.
An MBA won't do justice to you in the following roles => 1. Accountant/Audit 2. Finance 3. Economics 4. IT 5. Risk Mgmt 6. Datascience 7. Business Statistics 8. Investor Relations
These aforementioned fields normally require academic and not half-baked professional degrees.

The fascination with Germany, the two wars, and the image of Herr Hitler continues to sell well in the UK.
The academic & general interest in the Third #Reich, Nazism and the Nazi party officials is a product which has generated economical worth
in billions
From Movies to Degrees
I am firm of the opinion that the #UK left the EU not because they were Anti-Bureaucracy in Brussels, or didn't want the immigration from the continent to disturb either the labour market or the accepted standards of behaviour.
It is the hatred of the #Hun that made them do this.
On the opposite side in #Germany or any other EU Capital, if you talk to the common man or woman in the streets, they are hardly cognizant of either the UK's past anxieties w.r.t the WW2, or Venom of English Nationalism, anymore.
It is a prelude to the past.
They have moved on!
Starting a human or machine-based process late and finishing it quickly is also a sign of labour or robotic #efficiency, which is not taken into account by organizational #productivity specialists.
Doing things correctly matters without wasting time #gembawalk#Lean#Agile#TQM
Arriving at 9 in the morning at the office and staying late beyond designated working hours is the worst kind of employee #attitude, which should be rebuked by the #HR Dept.
Why do some people stay late at work, anyway?
Spying? or other motives?
Surprisingly, I have come across some night shift workers who do fewer hours and are at times far better at producing results compared to daylight sleepy heads.
More organizational studies are required to check employee motivation, productivity and time-task assignment management
Gifts cannot be priced. #Governments that offer #dole as part of the economic programs are akin to such gifts.
By adding a price ticket to every incentive awarded as a gift, a lot of waste can be screened and saved.
Leads to better management of public financial resources!
This principle of the national minimum is a political economic gift that can bankrupt a sovereign nation and completely distort its national psyche and narrative.
Most of the welfare capitalist countries are suffering from its accentuated curse since the end of World War 2.
"the cosy world we were told to go on forever" #Callaghan at the 1976 Labour Conference, taunting socialism.
How ironic!!
Don't overspecialize.
It will make you overdependent on other people.
Always be a #generalist.
The problem with doing a #PhD degree is that it makes you highly specialized in a minuscule area of academic interest.
Utter rubbish!
Sheer waste of time, financial resources and cognitive capabilities.
Many people who are struggling to find decent work after Postgraduate Qualification, such as MSc/MA/MBA, end up enrolling on a #PhD Degree program.
How bloody melancholic that is!?
Seen many such cases in Life and Hard Sciences.
Anticipating #tippingpoint is the most essential thing a gifted leader has to his credit.
All non-linear events should be studied carefully by applying #physics in social sciences, such as #Chaos#Theory and Law of #Thermodynamics.
Yes, and #Murphy's #First Law might also help.
How would I rate #, Harold MacMillan, as the PM of the UK?
Excellent sense of humour.
An eloquent speaker!
#Détente between the East and the West became possible due to #Macmillan’s diplomacy and energetic role in international politics.
He was probably a gifted International Relations Practitioner who had an exceptional understanding of issues around the world.
He was remarkably the first to predict an International crisis in the Gulf back in the 1960s after #Kuwait was given independence with a special status.
