The good news is Friday has begun fairly quietly. This is in line with the general trend of fewer missiles being fired by #Russia, likely indicating some "rationing" of diminishing stocks.

They won't run out soon, but cannot replace as quickly as they were firing.

Something else the Kremlin is losing rapidly is soldiers.

Another 400 Russian troops dead in the last 24 hours according to #Ukraine's estimates, way above average and taking the total toll to over 46,000.

Even if exaggerated, the trend is the same. Cannon fodder dying en masse

Britain's Ministry of Defence has so much info today!
Six generals fired. Misinformation from #Russia (you think so?!).
Also, they write of "collateral damage" regarding the #Chaplyne massacre - perhaps indicating there may have been a "military target"?

As one of my followers yesterday wrote (sorry I forgot who), there are no "legitimate military targets" for #Russia as the whole war is totally illegal.

I assume #Ukraine's figure today of 400 more dead Russians includes "at least" 200 killed in a hotel in #Kadiivka.

As well as renaming streets, the Mayor of #Kyiv @Vitaliy_Klychko has been giving thanks to #Poland.

Along with his brother @Klitschko the ex-boxers thanked "Polish brothers" for issuing stamps in their honour and for fund-raising a Bayraktar drone.

Europe's largest nuclear power plant remains disconnected from the the power grid.

A reserve line is being used to keep the plant running safely, with diesel generators as the final back up.

There has still been shelling and damage in #Ukraine of course, but one of the most shocking sights was not due to the war.

The new footage shows with remarkable clarity how #Ukraine patriots blew up a car carrying traitor Askyar Laishev, who switched to #Russia's side at the start of the original invasion 8 years ago.

The explosion was on 11 August on Shevchenko street in occupied #Starobilsk.

News is leaking out in #Russia of the first "prisoner conscripts" to come home in body bags.

44 year old Yevgeny Yeremenko was sentenced to 10 years in jail just a couple of years ago. He exchanged his sentence for a death sentence in #Ukraine.
