🇹🇷⚡️Turkey has announced the timing of the appearance of a new gas hub. Ankara wants to launch it within a year. The Turks promise to mediate and help Europe overcome the energy crisis.

The creation of a gas hub during the year does not imply that new gas pipelines will be built & additional volumes will come. Most likely, we are talking about selling free volumes at this gas hub. Russian gas, gas from Azerbaijan & possibly even Iran, can come to this hub.

An important factor in the appearance of different gas suppliers in the Turkish hub is that this depersonalizes the gas in Turkey, and the buyer, first of all, the European one will be able to say that he bought not Russian gas, but from the hub.

Turkey will also be able to earn by purchasing Russian gas and reselling it in an impersonal form to European buyers.

There is a risk that Turkey will try to manipulate prices in relations with Gazprom as well.

The accident occurred in the mountainous province of Balochistan. The bus driver is believed to have lost control due to high speed and hit a bridge pillar before crashing from the bridge.

There were 48 people on the bus, 39 were counted dead and 4 were rescued and taken to the hospital but are in critical condition. The death toll is expected to rise.

Russia has generally better weapons than Ukraine and is fighting an existential #war. Providing increasingly lethal #weapons to Ukraine would not be consistent with Scholz's stated goal of not escalating the situation.
