1. #thread The "boys will be boys" needs to end. As children, a boy was always trying "grab girls Pu&&ys" under their dresses. #MeToo

2. Our bus ride was very long, so many kids would fall asleep on the bus. Because it was a Christian school, we all wore dresses.

3. This one boy would crawl under the seats to look up the girls dresses & actually reach up to try to touch them. #MeToo

4. Me, and many other girls, reported him. He was never punished. The girls were always told to sit up front in the bus. #MeToo

5. Keep in mind, the school I went to was more of a "reprogramming" school & girls were taught not to question what boys did. #MeToo

6. So, coming forward with this information was worrisome enough, but to then not be listened to, was something else. #MeToo

7. This boy was allowed to "grab" at the young girls whenever he wanted to. Off the bus, he would try to rub against me and others. #MeToo

8. I devised a plan to pretend I was asleep & attack him when he tried grabbing for me again. It worked. #MeToo

9. But, I was punished for starting a fight, and he was not punished for harassing me. #MeToo - This sent a message to other girls.

10. The other girls did not fight him. We changed our lives around him. #MeToo

11. After surviving three years in that "school" I went to public school, where I was afraid to speak up, but I did try. #MeToo

12. Guess who went to public school the next year? You guessed it! The same boy who had harassed me for so many years. #MeToo

13. Unlike Christian school, where everyone was in one room, I was much higher than he in knowledge, so we were not in the same classes.

14. I still saw him every day in the hallways, & he still grabbed at me. But I was really good in school & fearful to get thrown out. #MeToo

15. I spoke to one teacher, & again, I was told to stay away from him. #MeToo Again, his actions were "boys will be boys" We were 12 now.

16. As time went by, he failed a class, and I lost touch with him. Until, someone told me to check the registry. #MeToo

17. This boy had grown into a man, and had assaulted a teen girl. #MeToo

18. Here's the kick! The teen girl was the much younger sister of my best friend in high school. She never knew my story b/c I was afraid.

19. As adult women, we compared notes on FB. Many of our classmates contacted me that he had harassed them over the years too. #MeToo

20. At least 5 people I know were harassed and told, but nothing was ever done. "Boys will be boys" #MeToo

21. I can't imagine how many young girls he hurt over the years, who haven't had a chance to speak up. #MeToo

22. He caused so much hell for so many girls. But adults said "Boys will be boys" - That "boy" is now a man ...

23. The link I shared above is the man who used his entire life to harass females. From 4th grade until 8th grade adults knew he harassed me

24. and did nothing. So, the next time you hear someone say, "boys will be boys" click on that link above & share this story. #MeToo
