🔥This week's episode of @BullCBS was a gaslighter to the max (pun intended)
- Marissa's husband cheated on her yrs ago
- Yrs later, when they remarried, he made certain promises to earn her trust again.

- He did not keep the promises he made
- He also lied about money & debt
But, when events of the story unfolded, she threw every moment of her time & reputation behind him & TAC threw their weight behind him too.

She shared important information with her boss, which could affect the case. -- She had the obligation to inform her friends and her job what might be happening so they knew what might be found by the prosecution. She was honest!
@Go_Carr_Go
Marissa is not an idiot. She has gut intuitions from her long career. The writers are portraying her as a broken-hearted little bird, when in fact, she's a highly educated person, w/ a career that should make her question everything. @Go_Carr_Go
Even though she was questioning her husband's trust, her looking for clues & being honest w/ her friends lead Bull to find info that helped in the case, which he wouldn't have found had Marissa not told the truth to her friends.
@Go_Carr_Go
On top of her putting her reputation on the line, working every waking moment to help her husband, going to court every day, & TAC backing him, it was her questioning instincts which lead to evidence to save his ass.

But how does this asshole husband repay his remarkable wife? He blames her for not trusting him completely, w/o question. WTF? Are you fucking kidding me? What kind of gaslighting asshole is this punk?
#RT - #Gaslighting - @Go_Carr_Go
Instead of dropping to his knees to beg for forgiveness for lying to her & making her doubt him again, & to thank her for saving his ass, he berates her in the street for not trusting him.

After she admits to being how she is, he gives her a partronizing kiss & acts like it's still her fault.
This is a strong, independent, experienced, educated woman, and you treat her like this?
Are. You. Fucking. Kidding. Me?!
@Go_Carr_Go
Marissa accepts him back, with no apology from him for hiding debt and money issues from her, for not following through on his promises, & for being a real jerk, yet, the writers have her act like it's still all her fault.
@Go_Carr_Go
Oh hell, naw!! She needed to stop him right in his tracks & make him explain why he didn't tell her the truth about his (their) debt & why he's put them in the difficult position they find themselves?

To understand why I'm upset about what the writers are doing w/ Marissa is to know how she handled the last guy who screwed her over. Sure, she was hurt, but she took control of the situation & as far as we know, he's in jail.
@Go_Carr_Go
The writers now have Marissa as a timid woman, who's afraid of speaking up for herself against the guy who broke her trust - twice. I'm not sure where they have this arc headed, but I honestly hope it's w/ Marissa telling dude BYE! @Go_Carr_Go
I hope the writers will do better by Geneva Carr. She's better than the episode tonight. She's super talented & her character is better than this crap.
