Moved to new city, went to Happy Hour at G&L Center. About 30 people there, over half were men trying to present as women. One of them swung his purse and caused another to spill his drink. Purse swinger apologized saying something about being “just a girl”. I said, no one in 1/
in this room is a girl, in fact I don’t think there’s anyone in this room under 30. He was furious, all those men trying to look like women were furious, as a group they were screaming at me, making threats, insulting my looks, one grabbed my arm, another pushed me. The one 2/
Lesbian couple in attendance disrupted the men, pulled me back to the kitchen, walked me out the back door to my car and told me I needed to leave & probably should not come back, that those men would be watching for me. One of them gave me her number, told me to call later. 3/
I never called her, I never went back to that Gay & Lesbian Center, or any other in any city I lived in after. My comment had been observing the age of the crowd, most looked 45-55, maybe one 35 year old. And it was 95%+ male, observing sex, at any age, was needless.
