1. The 2018 Election NEEDS a NAME

Conservatives NEED a NAME for the 2018 elections.

Democrats have Blue Wave.

A NAME is a FRAME. And a FRAME gives you POWER.

And a FRAME should be part of our GAME. #MAGA

2. A frame helps focus things. It motivates. It inspires. It provides clarity. It also can provide urgency. It gives meaning.

What creates urgency and motivation far better?

A blue wave? Or an “election?”

A blue wave? Or “the midterms”?

3. Framing is a big topic, but let’s focus on it as it pertains to this upcoming election, shall we?

4. Quick example.

We aren’t SPENDING on a wall.

Spending implies money is being spent, to never come back, with little return.

We are INVESTING IN A WALL.

Investing means value is returned over the long run.

I want you to IMAGINE SPENDING on a wall vs INVESTING in a wall.

5. See what I mean? It creates two totally different visual images in your head, doesn’t it?

6. If you maintain either A SPENDING FRAME vs INVESTING FRAME throughout the building of the wall, you can approach the process completely differently.

If SPENDING, cost is always a concern as it’s built

If INVESTING, the future of the country is always a concern as it’s built

7. Naming is important.

Framing is important.

Naming is framing.

So what’s with Blue wave?

8. Democrats have created a Blue Wave frame to focus their 2018 election efforts. This is smart from a political organizing point of view.

The frame is fun, and fun matters to wining elections. It also conjures up imagery. It explains what they want to do.

9. If also narrows peoples actions to essential action toward a goal — thy being a “blue wave.”

The thing to keep in mind, midterms are all about energy and turnout. The “Blue Wave” frame helps that.

10. Suddenly, it’s not an election anymore, it’s a Wave, it’s a party.

Remember #MAGA?

Same thing. A frame.

They were Making America Great again, and that required great effort.

11. Now allow yourself to imagine a Blue Wave. The more you think about “Blue Wave,” the more you begin to imagine a giant wave of water, thundering, crashing, closer and closer, to a beach. The water crashing gets louder, as it gets closer to the beach.

12. Can you hear it? As you begin to picture this in your head, you will begin to see a Sandcastle. It’s a glorious sandcastle. But it’s still built out of sand.

13. As you imagine this, you start to notice that the sand has dried from sun. It’s been chipped away by wind — details that took so long and so much effort to carve — blown away. The light rain over the past few days has worn that sand down. The castle still stands.

14. And it’s still glorious. But the foundation is weak. The image of a weak sandcastle ready to be washed away will stay in your mind. And as we imagine this sandcastle more and more, the idea of inevitability comes to mind.

15. A wave of water is inevitable. A Wave of water is irreversible. A wave of water has momentum. And everybody knows momentum begets momentum. It is, after all, nature. The blue wave will wash everything away.

16. In the democrat voter’s mind, they are the Blue Wave and they are part of that inevitability. Democrats want to see that sandcastle washed away.

Water flows.

Water never stops.

Water washes away.

19. Conservatives reading this will remember this image from now through 2018 because of the parallels. They can feel it in their bones. They can smell it on their opponents.

20. Blue Wave vs Election? There is nothing special about “the election this year.” Nor is there about Midterms” or “2018 election.” Why should a voter get too excited about another “election”?

21. However, for democrats, a “Blue Wave” is special, and a “Blue Wave” will only happen if everybody participates, and they really, really want to see that sandcastle washed away.

22. A good name is part of the game, and for conservatives, they need a name to motivate, focus, and drive them.

So conservatives: what’s your name for this game?

23. Addendum: one thing I immediately thought about as I was writing this:

Why? What is the thing that conservatives are up against the most? The media. The culture. Hollywood. Big tech. Everybody lying and censoring conservatives and conservative ideas.

24. The right is up against a machine that, as we have seen, will flat out lie about them. But like Neo in The Matrix—there are red pills to be dispensed.

Many people have a “splinter in their mind” and know something is off with everything.

25. But what they need is for somebody to show them the path to the truth. Perhaps the name of #TheGreatAwakening cam motivate The Right to double down on their efforts to get people to wake up and not listen to the establishment media?

26. Do you the reader have any ideas for a name? If your a conservative, better start thinking about one, quick.
