2/ @BorisJohnson 🤡gave a speech aimed at extending an olive branch to remainers by telling them Brexit will not be stopped and their concerns over the economy were "superficial"
3/ @BorisJohnson also said that Brexit was not some great V sign to the EU except of course it is
4/ @BorisJohnson as foreign minister spent much time talking about how Brits live to travel thereby highlighting how Brexit will reduce rights to live, study and work abroad 🙄
5/ @BorisJohnson as foreign minister also claimed the U.K. should continue to lead the world and that we should not be shackled to a block representing 6% of the world's population which is funny because put like that it makes the size of the UK really really small 🤦♂️
6/ @BorisJohnson boasted how UK exports outside the EU had risen massively in percentage terms without explaining that is happening while we are part of the EU and without quantifying the percentage in value terms 🤔

11/ @BorisJohnson said away from the EU we could not blame it for our problems. What he meant is that away from the EU we cannot use the EU as a scapegoat for GOV failings in improving the country nor claim EU laws such as stopping credit card charges as U.K. GOV initiatives 🤔

13/ He gave the example of the Spotzenkandidaten process. Well luckily these days one only has to read a few tweets to understand it
14/ Still at least in the W and A we learned that Brexit is not just about splitting up families, fucking up our economy & marginalising our geopolitical presence, we learned that in addition to innovative jam there will be promotion of organic carrots 🥕
15/ In the interests of balance I think an organic carrot would make a better foreign minister and do better at building consensus across the country on Brexit 🥕🥕🥕
16/ Meanwhile the EU economy grows and grows. Now when the bulk of your trade is with a fast growing economy it makes complete sense to detonate your existing trading regulations with that economy
17/ Especially when the NHS could do with extra funds and the tax revenues from a booming economy could plug that shortfall. But the problem with that conclusion is it is logical 🤐

20/ I mean why worry about details like customs rules and ensuring JIT manufacture will not be harmed or that people do not suffer from a lack of fresh food 🙄
21/ As @BorisJohnson said it is all so complicated when it comes to all things EU. We are better off leaving powered by self belief and confidence rather than food,
