It's slightly dumbfounding that *media* cannot see the forest through the trees on this. There are exact quotes from Bill Priestap and Bruce Ohr regarding the Steele Dossier and the FISA abuse as placed in the HPSCI memo.
...Yet the HPSCI has not interviewed Bill Priestap or Bruce Ohr. So exactly where do the media think the memo quotes came from?
... The quotes came from statements given to the IG Horowitz investigation into the actions by Bill Priestap and Bruce Ohr surrounding the FISA abuse.
.... Which indicates IG Horowitz investigation encompasses the FISA issues already. Which is affirmed by AG Jeff Sessions today. DUH.
... Sessions already stated he has *reasserted* appropriate (historic) rules and discussion to media surrounding ongoing DOJ investigations. [ie. Sessions has no plans to discuss (will not talk about) specifics regarding ongoing DOJ investigations.]
... until those investigations are complete.
