Government needs constant reminding it is a representation of the interest of the people, not an enterprise to enrich or empower itself.
This iteration of government is beholden to corporations and special interests. Displays of protest and mass assembly are the antidote and the only thing that can remind the body of power and the media that cover it how this should work.
An overwhelming majority of Americans oppose this frenzied culture of death that’s being maintained by the NRA and its pet political party. It’s time to remind them who their actual employers are.
This decaying system of government only works as long as the people don’t show up, as long as apathy is widespread and oppressive. The people win every time they show up.
