All this to say: One reason why Manafort & Rick Gates' business partner, Russian intelligence officer Kilimnik, isn't named in the Van der Zwaan indictment [only ID'ed as Person A] is that he may be cooperating with Mueller. 😏

Another scenario – and always my favorite – is that Kilimnik will soon be indicted.
Very curious that Weissmann allowed the "GRU officer" footnote to become public when Kilimnik's GRU ties been widely reported – it could easily have been redacted.
